EcoMinds - Italien

Seven young people from Cooperative Fjället recently participated in the Erasmus+ project "EcoMinds" in Giovinazzo, Italy, organized by the Italian organization InCo Molfetta. The project brought together young people from several European countries around two important themes: environmental awareness and mental health.

What made the exchange especially unique was that the young participants themselves had planned the project for three months – from idea to reality. Through this process, they gained not only new knowledge, but also valuable experience in project management, collaboration, and expressing their own visions.

During the week, they participated in:

• Workshops on sustainability and climate-conscious lifestyle choices

• Discussions and activities related to mental health and well-being

• Cultural activities and exchanges with young people from other European countries

Through dialogue, creative activities, and intercultural encounters, the participants developed greater self-confidence and a stronger sense of hope for the future—something they now bring back to their local communities.
