European Solidarity

Within the European Solidarity Corps, young people aged 18–30 are offered the opportunity to go as a volunteer to another country and work on various projects and activities.

You can work in a social or cultural organization, or with animals and nature. Your host organization may be a youth center, preschool, theatre, association, organization, school, government agency, or something similar.

You can travel to an EU country or a neighboring country to Europe. You can volunteer for between two and twelve months.

No previous knowledge or specific qualifications are required to become a volunteer. Volunteers receive travel support, pocket money, a language course, and accommodation.

All young people who want to participate in the European Solidarity Corps (volunteering projects and solidarity projects) need to register in the European Solidarity Corps Portal.

For many years, Cooperative Fjället has hosted volunteers who have worked at the youth center as an additional resource. These volunteers have come from different countries such as France, Spain, Portugal, Georgia, and Turkey.

Cooperative Fjället also helps young people from the local area who want to volunteer abroad, and we also run our own volunteer projects. The next project that we will send young people to will take place in summer 2024. Contact us if you are interested.

Cooperative Fjället holds a Quality Label within the European Solidarity Corps for the program period until 2027.
